The Houston Texans go all the way in, while the Buffalo Bills turn the page on the Stefon Diggs chapter. What implications does this have on the Fantasy Football world? Let's dig into it.

To check out the Free Agent winners and losers:

The Houston Texans have acquired Stefon Diggs, a 2024 sixth-round pick (#189 overall) and a 2025 fifth-round pick for a 2025 second-round pick. The Stefon Diggs experiment in Buffalo started off great with career highs in receptions and yards in his first season. He remained a perennial 100/1000 pass-catcher but things took a serious downward turn when frustration became visual. From week 9, Diggs production spiraled down cracking weekly WR15 just once. This move, gives Diggs and Buffalo a clean slate for the 2024-25 season.

    The Texans Fantasy Impact

CJ Stroud has become the big winner in all of this. His front office reassures him that they have complete faith in his ability to lead this team by adding an All-Pro WR to his arsenal of young and talented weapons. Stroud should be a popular QB selection for fantasy owners everywhere, moving him into a fringe top-3 Fantasy QB this season.

Stefon Diggs who was upset at the lack of production during the season in Buffalo now finds himself in a more crowded bunch. With Dell also returning from injury this season, there's going to be a lot of hungry mouths to feed. But, it's Stefon Diggs. Bobby Slowik is going to be like a kid in a candy store finding ways to get his new shiny toy the football. Diggs may have lost his WR1 price tag, but a discounted Stefon Diggs is something that has the ability to make or break your season.

Nico Collins and Tank Dell are now welcoming an All-Pro into their room. Both of these guys broke onto the scene last season, but Tank's breakout was cut short due to a Broken Fibula in week 13. For Collins, he still is the guy that will stretch the field for Houston and I believe he is still on track to continue his ascension in Fantasy. I believe Tank Dell is going to take a hit to his fantasy stock this season. Diggs and Dell have a similar play style using YAC to create explosives and with Dell returning from a serious injury I can see Houston being extra cautious now that they have an All-Pro to fill the gap.

    The Bills Fantasy Impact

Josh Allen now finds himself without his WR1 and WR2 from last season, while getting a couple of new faces. I believe Josh Allen is still going to be a unicorn in Fantasy Football even without Diggs. His rushing ability alone keeps him in the upper echelon, but Curtis Samuel and Mack Hollins are solid additions to help fill the void. Allen will probably drop in passing production but he will still be an elite fantasy QB.

James Cook will have to step up more in the passing game and I believe he is ready for the leap. With the draft rolling around, an RB may be on their way to Buffalo which will of course hinder Cook's production. But if Buffalo kicks the RB position in the draft, look for Cook to be heavily involved in this new look offense.

Curtis Samuel, Khalil Shakir and Dalton Kincaid all now have expanded opportunity to seize in this offense. I believe Kincaid is primed for a monster season, as he is the leading pass-catcher from last year's squad to return to this offense and Josh Allen is going to feed him targets all season long. Curtis Samuel now has the chance to emerge in that Diggs role from last season while Shakir will have more opportunities in that slot position that he has shown serious flashes in from the past.
